BUCK is the movie about the horse trainer Buck Brannaman. He was the inspiration for ”The Horse Whisperer”. The movie Buck is a documentary directed by Cindy Meehl. There isn't a whole lot of horse training, this movie is about the man and his relationship with horses.
Buck is an accomplished horseman, he doesn't have the flash and pizzaz of Pat Parelli. He is a blue collar pied piper who helps small groups of horses with people problems. This is a very well done film that will leave you liking Buck the man. His slow and even approach to horses shows how horses should be handled.
This movie shows how good horse training clinicians have to help people first before they can help their horses. Every horse owner should watch this film so that they can be humble enough to bring out the best of both horse and rider.
There will be some surprises but good and and not so good. A very entertaining movies that should not be missed.
